Dear Exhibitors,
The 2021 Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show had close to 30,000 attendees through our gates over the three days, making it one of our biggest shows on record and a testament to the ongoing support from the public for our Show, especially after a difficult 2020.
For 2021 the Show engaged Lüp as our ticketing system after hearing great feedback about their services from the Toowoomba Royal Show and the Ipswich Show. There were some teething issues, but overall, the Committee views the system as an overall great success for the Show. We will again be using the Lüp system for 2022 and we cannot wait to share with you as an Exhibitor the possibilities of using their system to generate more exposure once we release our Exhibitor Marketing Packages.
Since the 2021 Show concluded, the Committee has been busy working hard planning for the 2022 Show. Following the 2021 Show we sort feedback from Exhibitors and the public on ways in which we could enhance the Show experience for all parties, and we wish to share some of those details below:
For 2022, Exhibitors will be able to choose from three available zones (down from nine). This was done to streamline the application process, reduce the zoning confusion and finally to simplify the pricing model.
- The ‘General’ zones are our cheapest trade site zones and is primarily for general and non-profit trades. These sites are located outside of the pavilions and are best suited for sites that have marquees. These sites generally don’t have any power outlet, although one can be organised on request.
- The ‘Premium’ zones are in the Jim Carolan Pavilion and the Grassy Knoll. These sites are suited for general and artisan trade sites with pavilion sites having a required pavilion fee for backing boards, with all sites having an optional 1x power outlet (either standard or 3-phase).
- The all new ‘Premium +’ zones are in both the lower and upper Ray Grace Pavilion, around the ring and at the top of ‘The Green’. These locations are mainly for food and beverage sites. These sites include backing board and 1x power outlet (either standard or 3-phase) as part of the package as well as an additional 2x 3-day Exhibitor Passes.
You can view the pricing breakdown for these respective zones and the others below as well as a map showcasing where each zone is located. During the application process you will be able to nominate your preferred location within each respective zone.
Trade applications will be opened to the general public from December 15, 2021. We will then notify all trades sites from March 15, 2022 of who has been accepted.
