Compass

Compass

Dedicated to providing support for people with intellectual and/or physical disabilities, Compass play an important part in the establishment of the Show each year. Their friendly team of helpers come and assist in the setting up of numerous areas on the grounds prior to the Show opening. We feel privileged to have these young men and women as part of our Sunshine Coast Show Team.

Nambour Apex Club

Apex, established in 1931, is a vibrant and energetic volunteer service organisation focused on harnessing the ideas, ideals and intelligence of primarily younger Australians. Providing a versatile canteen servicing the Show Patrons and staff, Apex provide somewhere to sit, eat and relax while enjoying the Show atmosphere.

Nambour District Scout Association

Scouts Australia provides fun youth development activities, building resilient and confident boys and girls ages 5 to 25. The local troop march proudly in the Grand Parade and they work tirelessly assisting in the Wood Chop section each year.

Palmwoods Woombye Lions Club

Ordinary people doing extraordinary things – supporting people with a disability, community greening, fundraising for worthwhile causes, and Lions Youth of the Year district hosts. Palmwoods Woombye Lions Club support the Show through their Lions Kiosk, and by assisting in hosting dinners for workers prior to the Show.

NSC

Nambour State College

Quite literally a neighbour of the Show grounds, NSC graciously provide students to assist during the Cookery judging, in the setting up of the Pavilion as well as in the animal precinct. The school also provides the very popular petting zoo with animals from its school farm, and overseen by school staff and students. We are extremely grateful for the assistance the school gives us.

Rotary Club of Nambour 76

A non–political and non-religious service club open to all, bringing together local business and professional people.  Rotary members work in their BBQ canteen and provide somewhere to sit and eat for show staff and patrons.

palmwoods cricket club

Palmwoods Cricket Club

The Palmwoods Cricket Club aims to provide a supportive family-based environment which encourages participation in cricket by persons of all ages and abilities. Club members provide staff for the Crushers and Depot gate and supervise the parking on the Showgrounds.

st johns college

St John’s College Nambour

In a true community partnership, St John’s College senior students and parents have enthusiastically assisted with the manning of the two of the Show gates from the early hours of the morning into the evening for the past decade.

Woombye Palmwoods Rotary Club

Woombye Palmwoods Rotary Club bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian service and to advance goodwill and peace around the world.  They staff a busy canteen for Show visitors which is located near the Community Stage.

Unity Water

The team from Unity Water provide a free refill station for all to access during the three days of the Show making sure everyone keeps hydrated.
