Open and Senior exhibitors will have the opportunity to sell their Art during the three days of the Show with 20% commission to the Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show on all sales to cover administration costs and infrastructure. Your Art entry receipt will be required for any transactions. 

PLEASE READ THE COMPETITION CONDITIONS CAREFULLY:

The Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show Society (SCASS) is conducted under the Rules and Regulations of the Sunshine Coast Show Society and the Queensland Chamber of Agricultural Societies.

1. All entries to be completed online and must be lodged by 4:00pm June 6th, 2025.
2. ALL pieces MUST have the ShowDayOnline Entry Label FIRLMY ATTACHED TO THE BACK OF THE PIECE. The ShowDayOnline Program requires:
   Entrant’s Name: Joe Bloggs
   Exhibit’s Name: Percy Pig (This is the name of the Art piece)
3. NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE SHOW OFFICE. All Exhibits to be delivered upstairs to the Main Pavilion on the Showgrounds on June 6th, 2025 between 8:30am and 5:30pm or June 7th, 2025 between 7:30am to noon. Please contact the Chief Steward to make any other arrangements.
4. The Organisers accept no responsibility for loss or damage. It is recommended that all artists undertake their own insurance. 
5. All decisions regarding the Arts Competition will be the ultimate responsibility of the Chief Steward, Pavilion Steward and one other designated independent person. No further discussion will be entered into after the matter has been reviewed.
6. All artwork must be the original work of the exhibitor.
7. All works must be suitable for general public exhibition. 
8. All artwork must be suitably framed and ready to hang. No minimum standard Artboard Backing Cardboard will be accepted. All art pieces, including Canvasses, are to be suitably framed with cord or wire on ‘D’ hooks on the back and must not exceed 2m in width or height, including frame. NO FISHING LINE is to be used. Pieces not prepared in accordance with the requirements, will not be accepted.
9. All entries are to have the owner's details and/or school printed on the back or underneath of each piece of work. ShowDayOnline Label is to be FIRMLY fixed on the rear of the piece. No paper is to be attached to the front of the art piece.
10. Exhibitors' submission on entry implies acceptance of all conditions listed. This includes the use of the artist's piece/pieces for publicity/promotion on behalf of SCASS on their website, press, media coverage or other forms of publicity/promotion. The signed entry form is considered evidence of the Artist's consent.
11. All artworks must be collected June 15th, 2025 after 5:00pm, or on June 16th, 2025, between 7:30am and 4:00pm. Other arrangements can be made with the Chief or Pavilion Steward.
12. All entries to be delivered to the upstairs of the Main Pavilion. A lift is available from the ground entry to the upper floor.
13. Art exhibit cards will be emailed to you once your piece is entered on ShowDayOnline website. Entry receipts will be required to collect any artwork.
14. Official Opening Night will be 7:00 pm, June 12, 2025.
15. School students are in 3 categories - Senior (grades 10 to 12), Junior (grades 7 to 9), and Junior (Primary School grades 5 to 6).

PRIZE MONEY and PRIZE CERTIFICATES: No prize money will be paid out if there are any outstanding fees. All prize money will be available for collection from the Cashier at the Treasury, located beside the Main Office as soon as possible after 2:00 pm on the Friday of the Show. All prize money is GST-inclusive. Prizes not collected by June 30th, 2025 will be forfeited. Prize cards will not be held after June 30th.                                                                                                                                                         

DISCLAIMER:  SCASS shall not be responsible for any accident that may be caused to or by an exhibitor, members of the general public or competitor and will not, under any circumstances, be responsible for any losses or non-delivery of livestock or entries of any kind, or any injury or damage done thereby. Persons contravening any of SCASS’s rules/regulations shall forfeit any prize awarded. SCASS reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or require any entry to be removed at any time. Exhibitors shall accept the decision of the Stewards/Judges appointed by SCASS as final. The decisions of the Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show Society Committee are final.
