2021 Show is a Go!

2021 Show is a Go!

We would like to thank you all for your patience throughout 2020. Whilst it was a challenging year, 2021 is looking better and brighter! We are very excited to announce we are holding a show, your show!

After such a challenging year, the Sunshine Coast Show is delighted to be working hard to bring the country to the city once again to celebrate the 115th staging of the Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show.

We will be focusing on COVID-19 safety to ensure our community is protected and we have a show that everyone can enjoy. We will continue to work closely with Queensland Health on staging the 2021 show in line with their recommendations. We can’t wait to see you, so mark your calendars for Friday, June 11 for the Show Holiday, with the show closing on Sunday, June 13.

All the unique Sunshine Coast Show traditions the public knows and loves such as our much-loved competitions, animals, food, sideshow alley, showbags and entertainment will be back while ensuring a cost-effective approach in our comeback year.

We have had to undertake some changes in the layout of the grounds for the better in order to handle our expected crowds of 25,000 over three days. We are committed to delivering those traditional and unique Sunshine Coast Show experiences that the public and our exhibitors come back for year after year.

We look forward to welcoming you all back to the Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show in 2021. More information to come on tickets and what entertainment and events will be happening at our show. To keep up to date with everything that is happening, be sure to follow our socials!

      Hi T.Henning,

The COVID-19 specifications are available within your trade site application form under the Insurance section. It is called a ‘Statement of Compliance’ and there is a link to the Queensland Government website in that section with more details.

      Thanks,
      Eddie

          Hi William,

          Thanks for your query.

Unfortunately the Showbags are run by external contractors so we won’t know the Showbag pricings until Showtime.

If you have any further queries, please just let us know.

          Regards
          Tylah

Hi are ride passes going to be available this year? I can’t see references to them anywhere on your website

      Hi JT,

There are no ride passes as such. The Showman’s Guild will be there as they have for many years and they determine to cost on a per ride basis. Buying a ride pass is as simple as going to the ride you wish to go on, purchase a ticket and jump on and enjoy the fun!

      Thanks,
      Eddie

Hi, I was just wondering if you have a list of the showbags that will be available anywhere? Thanks 😀

      Hey Alicia,

Unfortunately we don’t have a list of showbags this year. We aim to have a list on our website next year for showbags. We do however have 3 showbag trailers here which have a wide range of showbags for all ages.

      Thanks,
      Eddie

      Hi Pat,

Yes, we have a full Show Cellar on offer with an outdoor beer garden from which you can watch the fireworks! There are programs available on our website for the RSL Community Stage and the Main Arena’s Night Show!

      Thanks,
      Eddie
