Celebrating 120 Years of Sunny Coast Show Traditions
The 120th Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show is packed with action, laughter and live entertainment for all ages with some extra horsepower in 2026. From magical wild brumbies, high-octane stunt shows to farmyard favourites, rides, live music – there’s something for everyone to enjoy over three huge days: 12–14 June, at the Nambour Showgrounds.
“Gates open from 9am each day with a variety of performances every half hour and entertainment continues into the night,” said Show Society President Rowan O’Hara.
The show remains a winter meeting place that celebrates the region’s rich agricultural heritage, vibrant community spirit, and spectacular talent from woodchopping battles to show-jumping action, a mega petting zoo, working dogs, sheep shearing, a creative arts exhibition, delicious food stalls, Sunshine & Sons Show Saloon, fireworks, rides, showbags and lots of free family fun.
While the big-ticket entertainment brings the noise and spectacle, the show’s heart remains its long connection to the district’s rural roots. Traditional competitions and displays continue to give locals and visitors a reminder of the farming skills, animal handling, craftsmanship and community effort that have shaped the event across generations.
“We are absolutely delighted with the strong regional support for the 120th Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show,” said O’Hara. “The energy and enthusiasm from our visitors, farmers, exhibitors, performers, competitors and members who all come together for the show each year is truly fantastic.”
