Entertainers Agreement

The Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show is a COVID-19 SAFE event under a designated Health Plan. All performers will be required to follow the Conditions of Entry onto the Showgrounds. Please be aware that we are guided by Qld. Health and are subject to change as directed by the authorities. Please consider PHYSICAL DISTANCING IN YOUR PERFORMANCE.

Performance Dates and Times: Performance dates and times allocated will appear on our website. Failure to perform at your given times and days will result in both embarrassment and disappointment for both entities. We reserve the right to change times and will notify you in extreme circumstances.

Sound: The sound systems and volumes will be exclusively controlled by Show Representatives. You must comply with the Sound teams’ advice and direction at all times where applicable.

Censorship: The Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show is a family friendly event. Obscene gestures, dance movements or music lyrics will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to pull the act if it is deemed inappropriate and not for general viewing.

Entry into the Show: Each of our performers enter free of charge provided they are on a list of performers already submitted to the office and have their prearranged entry ticket. In the case of large groups with primary school students, a ratio of 1 free adult to 5 performing children will be permissible with the group. Tickets for groups MUST be prearranged with Show Office Manager. A Maximum of 25 performers will be allowed per group unless otherwise negotiated.

Change Room: Due to Health restrictions, we encourage all performers to come prepared for their piece thus limiting shared change rooms. If this is not possible, please advise the coordinator so you can be allocated a change space.

Liability: All care is taken by the Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show that our grounds, stages and sound equipment are safe and in working order and operated by professionals. We take no responsibility for any accidents that occur. You agree to perform at your own risk. We ask that your group supplies us with a copy of your Public Liability Insurance.

Parking: One free car park will be provided per group at Crusher’s Park unless prearranged with management.

Minors: If you have minors attending as part of your group, it is your responsibility to ensure that they are supervised. They are representatives of your performing group and therefore representatives of the Sunshine Coast Show.

Behaviour: Abuse of our workers and bad behaviour will not be tolerated. You may be asked to leave and your performance times will be re-allocated.

Social Media: Please give us a Shout Out if you are on social media. We may be able to use a clip of your performance on our website – please send it to the stage coordinator and we will see if we can use it.

Financial Contribution:- Where possible, we like to make a financial contribution to performers.  Please see the co-ordinator for details.  Please note that funds not collected by June 30th will be deemed as a donation to the Show.
