Open and Senior Ceramic Entry Exhibitors will have the opportunity to sell their pieces during the three (3) days of the Show with 20% commission to the Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show on all sales to cover administration costs and infrastructure. Your entry receipt will be required for any transactions.

PLEASE READ THE COMPETITION CONDITIONS CAREFULLY:

The Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show Society (SCASS) is conducted under the Rules and Regulations of the Sunshine Coast Show Society and the Queensland Chamber of Agricultural Societies.

1. All entries must be completed online and be lodged by 4:00pm Friday, June 6th, 2025.
2. ALL pieces MUST have the ShowDayOnline Entry Label FIRMLY ATTACHED TO THE UNDERSIDE OF THE PIECE where possible or the back. ALL pieces MUST have the ShowDayOnline Entry Label FIRLMY ATTACHED TO THE PIECE. The ShowDayOnline Program requires:
   Entrant’s Name: Joe Bloggs
   Exhibit’s Name: Percy Pig (This is the name of the Art piece)
3. NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE SHOW OFFICE. All Exhibits to be delivered upstairs to the Main Pavilion on the Showgrounds between 8:30am - 5:00pm Friday, June 6th, 2025 or between 7.30 am - noon Saturday, June 7th, 2025. Please contact the Chief Steward to make any other arrangements. A lift is available from the ground entry to the upper floor.
4. The Organisers accept no responsibility for loss or damage. It is recommended that all artists undertake their own insurance.
5. All decisions regarding the Ceramics Competition will be the ultimate responsibility of the Chief Steward, Pavilion Steward and one other designated independent person. No further discussion will be entered into after the matter has been reviewed.
6. All work must be the original work of the exhibitor.
7. All works must be suitable for general public exhibition.
8. Exhibitors' submission on entry implies acceptance of all conditions listed. This includes the use of the artist's piece/pieces for publicity/promotion on behalf of Show Society on their website, press, media coverage or other forms of publicity/promotion. The signed entry form is considered evidence of the Artist's consent.
9. All artworks must be collected after 5:00pm Sunday, June 15th 2025, or between 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday, June 16th, 2025. Other arrangements can be made with the Chief or Pavilion Steward.
10. Entry receipts will be required to collect any artwork.
11. Official Opening Night will be from 6:30pm Wednesday, June 11th, 2025.
12. School students are in three (3) categories - Senior (grades 10 to 12), Junior (grades 7 to 9), and Junior (Primary School grades 5 to 6).
13. All pieces, where possible, will be displayed in protective glass cabinets. All Care is taken. If your item has loose additional pieces, please ensure you secure the pieces and advise the receiver to ensure best practices in handling your pieces.

PRIZE MONEY and PRIZE CERTIFICATES: No prize money will be paid out if there are any outstanding fees. All prize money will be available for collection from the Cashier at the Treasury, located beside the Main Office as soon as possible after 2:00pm on the Friday of the Show. All prize money is GST-inclusive. Prizes not collected by June 30th, 2025 will be forfeited. Prize cards will not be held after June 30th.

DISCLAIMER: SCASS shall not be responsible for any accident that may be caused to or by an exhibitor, members of the general public or competitor and will not, under any circumstances, be responsible for any losses or non-delivery of livestock or entries of any kind, or any injury or damage done thereby. Persons contravening any of SCASS’s rules/regulations shall forfeit any prize awarded. SCASS reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or require any entry to be removed at any time. Exhibitors shall accept the decision of the Stewards/Judges appointed by SCASS as final. The decisions of the Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show Society Committee are final.
