PLEASE READ THE COMPETITION CONDITIONS CAREFULLY:

The Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show Society (SCASS) is conducted under the Rules and Regulations of the Sunshine Coast Show Society and the Queensland Chamber of Agricultural Societies.

1. Only Exhibits made between July 1st, 2024 and June 2025 may be exhibited and all entries must be the bonafide property of the entrant.
2. Entry forms must reach the Show Office by 4:00pm on June 6th, 2025. Online entries should be entered with the school name in the “Company” field and the student’s name in the “Exhibit” field.
3. Class Tickets must be firmly attached to all exhibits.   
4. Exhibits must include the following information on the BACK of each entry:
   - Name of exhibitor(s)
   - School / Grade/ Teacher
   - Name of Item & Date Item Made (if known)
5. All other Art for display purposes must have the following information included on a small card on the front of the item: School / Grade / Student’s INITIALS 
6. Entries in Class 12001 must be delivered to the Grandstand Dining Room on June 7th, 2025 between 11:00am and 2:00pm. The relevant school will be required to assist with the setting up and pulling down of their exhibit. Please contact the Chief Steward to make arrangements if unable within this time.
7. All other Entries are to be delivered to the Show Office up to 4:00pm on June 6th, 2025. Late entries may be displayed but will not be judged.
8. Judging will be completed by June 10th, 2025.
9. Exhibits entered in previous Sunshine Coast Shows are not permitted to be entered into this year’s Show.
10. Quality will be the first consideration in judging.
11. Exhibitors may enter several exhibits in each class. All exhibits will be judged but in the event of numerous large exhibits in any one class, display cannot be guaranteed.
12. Exhibits may be collected on June 16th, 2025 between 7:00am and 5:00pm. Any remaining Items will be held for the week after which they will be disposed of unless prior arrangements have been made with the Chief Steward.
13. Exhibitors must present their nomination receipt to collect entries or prizes.
14. Exhibitors are not permitted to interfere with the judging process.
15. Provisions are made for awarding 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in each class. Judges may withhold any or all places if exhibits are not of an acceptable standard. 
16. All individual artwork must be A4 in size. Entries not this size may not be judged.  
17. Every care will be taken of exhibits but no responsibility will be accepted for loss or damage;

SCHOOL DISPLAYS

18. School displays will have a total area of 1.5m up the wall and tabletop space which is 90cm wide. The display can also go to the floor in front of the table. Pinboard space on either side of the table is also available.
19. Schools are invited to set up a promotional exhibit that provides free publicity for your school. You must advise the Show Office if you intend to set up your own promotional exhibit.  Schools must set up their own displays and they must be in place by no later than 2:00pm on June 7th, 2025. No specific space will be allocated – first in – best place. If unable within this time, please contact Chief Steward to make arrangements.
20. Schools will need to be on the grounds to pull down their exhibit on June 16th, 2025 from 7:30am. Any items not collected by Friday afternoon will be destroyed unless prior arrangements have been made with the Steward.
21. All vehicles coming onto the grounds agree to abide by the SCASS traffic management plan. No vehicle entry during Show operating hours. 

PRIZE MONEY and PRIZE CERTIFICATES: No prize money will be paid out if there are any outstanding fees. All prize money will be available for collection from the Cashier at the Treasury, located beside the Main Office as soon as possible after 2:00 pm on the Friday of the Show. All prize money is GST-inclusive. Prizes not collected by June, 30th 2025 will be forfeited. Prize cards will not be held after June 30th.

DISCLAIMER: SCASS shall not be responsible for any accident that may be caused to or by an exhibitor, members of the general public, or competitor and will not, under any circumstances, be responsible for any losses or non-delivery of livestock or entries of any kind, or any injury or damage done thereby. Persons contravening any of SCASS’s rules/regulations shall forfeit any prize awarded. SCASS reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or require any entry to be removed at any time.  Exhibitors shall accept the decision of the Stewards/Judges appointed by SCASS as final.  The decisions of the Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show Society Committee are final.
