The Sunshine Coast Show is a ticketed event from Friday to Sunday Inclusive.
Access is only via a ticket on these days. |
PLEASE READ THE SCHEDULE CONDITIONS CAREFULLY AS SOME CONDITIONS HAVE CHANGED:-
The Show is conducted under the Rules and Regulations of the Sunshine Coast Show Society Incorporated and the Queensland Chamber of Agricultural Societies
- Entries must be the bona fide property of the entrant.
- Entry forms must reach the Show Office by 4:00 pm on Wednesday, 10th June 2026.
- Class tickets must be attached to all exhibits. Please contact the office if you require assistance with your entry tickets.
- The Exhibit Line is for the name of the jar or plate contents. Please do not place any personal identifying names in the Exhibit line, as this may lead to your entry being disqualified. The ShowDay Online Program requires: Entrant’s name: Joe Bloggs; Exhibit’s name: Strawberry and Apple Jam
- Sweets & Preserves Exhibits can be delivered to the ground floor of the Main Pavilion from Monday, 8th, from 9:00 am to 9:00 am Thursday, 11th June. Exhibits will be judged on Thursday, 11th June.
- Professional Entries may be disqualified at the discretion of the Judge or Chief Steward.
- Quality & presentation will be the first consideration in judging.
- Exhibits entered in collections cannot compete in single classes.
- Exhibits may be collected on Sunday, June 14th, after 6:00 pm. Please note ticketed event days. Remaining entries will be available from the Pavilion on Monday, June 15th, between 8:00 am and 5:00 p.m. Remaining Items will be held for one week, after which they will be disposed of unless prior arrangements have been made with the Chief Steward.
- Exhibitors must present their nomination receipt to collect entries or prizes.
- Exhibitors are not permitted to interfere with the judging process.
- Provisions are made for awarding 1st & 2nd place in each class. Judges may withhold any or all places if exhibits are not of an acceptable standard.
- There is no limit to the number of entries that can be made by an exhibitor.
- Every care will be taken of the exhibits, but no responsibility will be accepted for loss or damage.
- All sweets exhibits are to be presented on small paper plates.
- All exhibits must be consumable.
- Marmalade: Skins to be finely chopped, not blended.
- Relishes should not need flour/cornflour to thicken.
- All vehicles coming onto the grounds agree to abide by the SCASS traffic management plan. No vehicle entry during Show operating hours.
- FOR JAMS, JELLIES, MARMALADES, CHUTNEYS, PICKLES, RELISHES, BUTTERS, SAUCES, AND TAPENADES:-
Jars to be a minimum of 200ml, a maximum of 300ml and MUST be round (no hexagonal jars) - this will be strictly enforced.
No jars with embossing, i.e. Roses Jars.
Screw top (plain coloured) lids only - no ribbons or embellishments.
Wax seals are to be removed before delivery.
All jars are to be filled to the top.
21. FOR VINEGARS AND OILS:
Bottles to be minimum 200ml, maximum 300ml - No jars with embossing, embellishment or decoration.
All exhibits must be labelled with variety.
Screw top (plain coloured) lids only - no ribbons or other fancy embellishments.
Wax seals are to be removed before delivery.
All bottles must be filled no less than 1cm from the top.
210ml Jars and 200ml bottles are available for purchase from the Sunshine Coast Show Office for $ 1 per jar.
PRIZE MONEY and PRIZE CERTIFICATES: No prize money will be paid out if there are any outstanding fees. All prize money will be available for collection from the Cashier at the Treasury, located beside the Main Office as soon as possible after 2.00 pm on the Friday of the Show. All prize money is GST-inclusive. Prizes not collected by June 30th will be forfeited. Prize cards will not be held after June 30th.
DISCLAIMER: The Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show Society (SCASS) shall not be responsible for any accident that may be caused to or by an exhibitor, members of the general public or competitor, and will not, under any circumstances, be responsible for any losses or non-delivery of livestock or entries of any kind, or any injury or damage done thereby. Persons contravening any of SCASS’s rules/regulations shall forfeit any prize awarded. SCASS reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or remove any entry at any time. Exhibitors shall accept the decision of the Stewards/Judges appointed by SCASS as final. The decisions of the Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show Society Committee are final.
